Why may I only use my credit card and my personal information for MyRentAuto services?

On MyRentAuto it is important that the personal data in your profile is accurate: they are used when creating a lease agreement. Your account is personal; you cannot lend it to a relative who wants to rent a car on MyRentAuto. He must create a personal account under his name.

A tenant is a person who pays the rent, as well as a driver of a rented vehicle.

If your personal information is incorrect, you can edit it at any time in your profile. At the beginning of the rental, the information displayed in the rental agreement will be compared by us and the owner with the data specified in your driving license, passport and on your payment card. In case of inconsistencies, we will be forced to refuse to rent you, in accordance with our rental conditions.

However, there are valid exceptions:

  • if your maiden name indicated in your driving license is different from your name on the payment card, you will need to show the owner a justification for changing the maiden name to a new one.

  • If your last name or first name is too long and has been truncated, for example, on your payment card, you will need to provide an additional identifier where your full name will be full.

Note: If your profile is “Verified” and you are editing it, our team will have to check it again. You must take into account this treatment process for your rentals.
