- What should I do before starting a car rental?

1. Check the technical condition of your car for driving readiness:

  • Checking the appearance and visual damage.
  • Checking the condition of tires and brake system.
  • Checking the level of brake fluid, antifreeze, engine oil, windshield washer fluid, etc ...).
  • Make sure you have the necessary car accessories: warning sign, reflective vests, first-aid kit, spare tire and jack for it.

2. Check for documents in the car:

  • Technical passport for your car.
  • Compulsory insurance policy (if necessary, a copy of the CASCO insurance policy).
  • Instructions for the driver in case of damage to the car (available online from the terms of the car rental on MyRentAuto service).

- What should I do when I transfer the car to the lessee?

1. When transferring a car, the Lessee must be present when receiving the car, present his original driver’s license (not a copy) and a passport (identification document).

2. Make sure that the driver’s license and passport correspond to the data in the contract and have the same numbers and validity periods of the documents.

3. Each tenant must satisfy the MyRentAuto rental conditions:

  • Age and driving experience renting a car of the premium category (class (D), (E), (M)) and exclusive (class (F), (J), (S)).
  • Fill in the car transfer and acceptance certificate with the tenant and proceed with the inspection of the vehicle. Make sure the tenant has signed the Act.

Note: If the documents of the lessee (additional driver) do not comply with the contractual ones, insurance coverage may be invalid.

- What should I do when a tenant returns a car?

At the end of the lease, complete the acceptance certificate, fill in the data on the distance traveled and the fuel level, to adjust the cost of the lease if necessary. If necessary, make all comments and suggestions on the condition of the vehicle.

Make sure that the tenant has signed the above statement and agrees to all handwritten entries indicated in it.
